Riverdale Art Walk 2010 - Jimmy Simpson Park. This 2-day, juried fine art show is open to all fine artists from Canada and the United States and attracts more than 10,000 art lovers. The show is held on Queen Street between Broadview and Carlaw, in Jimmy Simpson Park.
Art Gallery of Hamilton 2010 Fall Art Sale. John was part of the semi-annual AGH Art Sale event, which is an extension of the Art Rental + Sales Programme, a revenue generating activity in support of Gallery Programming.
Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition 2010 - Nathan Phillips Square. John was very pleased to have been selected to appear in what is Toronto's foremost outdoor art show. As the largest outdoor art exhibition in Canada, the TOAE offers a fresh-air alternative to conventional art shows and galleries. Approximately 500 artists participate and over 100,000 visitors attend the exhibition every year.TOAE is recognized as a festival and event of distinction by the Top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario.
Port Credit Art Show 2010 - Credit Village Marina. The 12th Annual Port Credit Art Show took place on the boardwalk of the Credit Village Marina, 12 Stavebank Rd. S. in Port Credit. This exhibition will have works of painting, multi-media, sculpture, ceramic, glass, photography, jewellery, wood, fibre and metal.
Artisans at the Distillery Art Fair 2010 - Historic Distillery District. The "Artisans at the Distillery Art Show" is another juried fine art show. It is part of a series of arts and crafts shows held in the historic Distillery District through the summer. The Distillery District is between Parliament and Cherry Streets south of Mill Street.
Queen West Art Crawl 2010 - Trinity Bellwoods Park. Our now infamous Outdoor Art Show and Sale, with more than 230 artists will return to transform Trinity Bellwoods Park into a bustling marketplace of ideas, inspirations, happenings and some exciting surprises that you won't want to miss!

Aerial Perspectives and Maritimes: Landscape Views. John was part of a three artist show of landscape paintings at Gallery deBoer for June and July 2009. The Opening Reception on Friday, June 19th was well attended and the show received good publicity.

Riverdale Art Walk 2009 - Jimmy Simpson Park. The Riverdale Art Walk is a 2-day, juried fine art show, with artists showing indoors and outdoors. The show is open to all fine artists (no crafts) from Canada and the United States. The show attracts 10 000+ art lovers each year. The organizers have had many artists tell them that the Riverdale Art Walk is the best outdoor show in the city. The show was held on Queen Street between Broadview and Carlaw, in Jimmy Simpson Park.

Queen West Art Crawl 2008 - Trinity Bellwoods Park. In its 6th year, the Art Crawl brought together 230 artists at Trinity-Bellwoods Park. Despite the remnants of Hurricane Ike approaching from the south, the show was well attended.
Neilson Park Creative Centre 2008. This juried show is held in the west end of Toronto to showcase the talents of artists in the Etobicoke area. Many of the artists use the Centre as studio and teaching space. More info on the Centre can be found at: Neilson Park Creative Centre
